I have love in me the likes of which you can scarcely imagine, and rage the likes of which you would not believe. If I cannot satisfy one, I will indulge in the other. -Mary Shelley, \'Frankenstein\' I\'m artistic. I paint every day. My "works in progress" corner rotates about 12 pieces continuously. I don\'t drink. Bars and clubs aren\'t my thing. If you like to go out more than you like to stay in, you might not be the person for me. I want to have meaningful conversations before I meet you - this isn\'t Tinder. I started college to be an English Lit teacher, ended up with a Psych degree. Tells a lot about me. My heart remains with both subjects. I rescue plants like most people rescue animals - I have 27 houseplants currently, and I ache for when I have enough land to garden once again. I have a deep love for conversation that flows, starry nights, and enlightening trips ,) My ideal Saturday is a not-so-strenuous hike to where there is water, and trees, I\'ll go swim for a bit, then lay in my hammock, reading the day away. I\'m legitimately trying to find a partner - stop wasting my time, I won\'t ever just sleep with you. Now for the not so cute stuff: I do not support our current President, in any manner. I do not agree with open carry. I do not think hunting or fishing for sport is humane. I have a lot of problems with organized religion (if your profile says "Christian-Other, Catholic, Methodist, etc, I will not respond to your message with anything other than a copy/paste on how you obviously didn\'t read my profile) If you haven\'t read at least one book in the last six months, we probably won\'t get along. If you do not understand why funding the arts is vital, I am not interested in discussing anything with you until I can get you to understand why funding the arts is so vital. Also - I am 31. I\'m not here for 21-28 year olds. Yes, yes "age is just a number" but literally the chemical composition of your body is still changing, and life experiences that alter you as a being are ripe to happen in this age frame. |
